Well Today’s ‘Why’
To inspire and cultivate excellence in others – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This enhances the lives of individuals and therefore strengthens families, friendships, organizations and society. A goal: more fulfillment in life for all. This is the most meaningful work I can do.
Key Principle #1
“We are all a laboratory of one.” Clients are encouraged to experiment, experience and decide what is best for THEM.
Key Principle #2
The Iceberg Model of Wellness and Well-being (John W. Travis, MD)
It uses the analogy of an iceberg to illustrate that what is visible (e.g., symptoms or behaviors) is only a small part of the whole picture. Spirituality, Being and Meaning In Our Lives are the main drivers of our well-being.
Wellness & Well-being Workshops
We offer interactive and engaging Body-Mind-Spirit transformational workshops and coaching. This includes Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness & Meditation, Nutrition (with the Whole30), Fasting, Keto, Stress Management, and (likely most importantly) the “Laboratory of One” concept – finding out, and sticking with, what works best for you. Workshops are 8-14 hours spread out over 6-8 weeks – can be customized to meet organizational needs.
Paul is a Certified Primal Health and Emeritus Certified Whole30 Coach, a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Wellness Program Manager.

Applied Brain Science Workshops
Participants learn and practice techniques for cooling down their Lower Brain, our fear-based survival center, and activating their Higher Brain, the center for creativity, critical thinking and interpersonal connections. By employing these skills, leaders (we all are) can increase their tolerance for discomfort and be better equipped to manage potentially difficult conversations and change. The results are a fulfilling and successful workplace, personal growth, and a high-functioning community.
The workshop facilitates the integration of medical, brain, and social science knowledge into daily life through practical application, empowering participants to achieve lasting change. Examples of two workshops Paul leads for the University of Wisconsin-Madison:
- Managing Your Brain for Managers: The Neuroscience of Leading Self and Others
- Brain Hacks: Harnessing Neuroscience for Leadership & Success

Paul’s Story
Since 2007 I’ve led wellness workshops, coached triathletes and started Well Today. My purpose as a trainer – to inspire and cultivate excellence in others. I specialize in helping people that have been working to improve their health, well-being and achieve their life goals, but not realizing the results they want. I’m enriched and also grow in this shared journey.
