Health Today Index

The Health Today Index (HTI) is a simple health indicator that focuses on body fat and cardiovascular fitness. Workshop participants use the HTI as a progress measurement tool. You're likely familiar with the adage, "What gets measured gets done."

What is it?

HTI = Waist-to-height ratio  x  resting heart rate.

For most, the lower the better. Is a lower resting heart rate really better? Says who?
